Julien Belliveau, 93, of Villa Providence, Shediac, and formerly of Memramcook East, died Monday (28 janvier) at the home after a lengthy illness.
Born at Memramcook East, he was a son of the late Auguste and Bibienne LeBlanc (Belliveau). He was a woodsman and a veteran of the First World War, serving overseas.
His wife, the former Marie Saulnier, died eight years ago. He is survived by a sister, Miss Marguerite LeBlanc of Memramcook East, and by nieces and nephews.
The body is at Dupuis' Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday from the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East. A Legion memorial service will be held at the church following the funeral service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
